The former chief songwriter and singer of the Australian band Storm The Sky has graced a solo career. As hard of a pill as it is to swallow, Saint Rien is telling the truth and is definitely not shy about it. The artist behind tracks such as “Tell The Truth” and “Like You” still has a lot to uncover from his musical genius. With this extremely raw and emotional song out now, Saint Rien positions himself as a key emerging indie artist and the ideal spokesperson for anyone struggling with mental health.
When asked about the release, Saint Rien said:
“Anxiety and depression have been a huge factor in my life. I wrote this song about a side of anxiety that I don’t think people really speak about enough . The self-sabotaging, fear of success and lack of deserving that so many people feel. I wrote Why2 when I had everything I ever wanted in a relationship and was still unable to sleep because of one sentence she said to me. In that moment I thought everything was lost and I was never going to be okay again. The most important thing though, is that I used that feeling to create and worked through it musically. It’s so important to find your release whenever you feel like that"
Saint Rien is never afraid to let us into the very depths of his vulnerability and this song might just be the most honest and vulnerable yet! From anxiety to other forms of mental health, Saint Rien is aiming to raise awareness to help those suffering. For a quick snap back to reality, make sure to listen to Saint Rien’s hit new song now.
