Too Short and E-40 square up in final Verzuz of 2020

Bay area rap legends Too Short and E-40 squared up in the last Verzuz of 2020 on Saturday (Dec. 19), and it was the perfect way to end this year's IG Live series created to give music pioneers their flowers for their groundbreaking contributions to the culture. Hip hop fans from all over were excited to tune it, but those specifically from the Yay were the main ones ready to go dumb.   Stars like Nick Cannon, Saweetie, Keith Powers, Bun B, Sway Calloway, Big Boi, Ray J, D-Nice, DJ Drama and more pulled up to watch the West Coast OGs' showdown. In an interview leading up to the Verzuz, Too Short said: “All this friendly stuff is cool, but I’ve been knowing 40 for 30 plus years, I don’t think he’s going to be this friendly when we get in the battle. He’s prob gonna swing a baseball bat at me, something’s gonna happen. He’s probably gonna turn into the goon, the goon with the spoon and hit me with a spoon or something, you know.”
