Madame Tussauds London recently introduced its wax figure of pop singer Ariana Grande.
The life-size figure features the Boca Raton entertainer with her signature pony-tail, eyebrows and thigh-high boots or what Madama Tussauds called “classic Ari.”
But the reaction online has been mixed. While some fans say its looks real, others say it doesn’t look like the 25-year-old singer at all. “I hate Ariana’s new wax figure. Its not her face,’’ wrote one fan named Jaka Rojko on Twitter. “She deserves more respect you know.”
Another fan responded that the figure looks more like “Saturday Night Live” cast member Melissa Villaseñor portraying the singer than the singer herself. Pop culture personality Perez Hilton, aka Miami native Mario Lavandeira Jr., also chimed in, noting “this new Ariana Grande wax figure looks more like Princess Jasmine’s friend in #Aladdin.”
