The young and beautiful Karen Vega has become the first model from Oaxaca to be on the cover of Vogue! Her interests for modeling began at the early age of 14. It's truly amazing to see and know that she's inspiring many young girls that can identify with her, either with the way she looks or where she comes from.
We've previously seen actress Yalitza Aparacio, also from Oaxaca, grace the cover of Vogue and It makes me so happy to continue to see more representation.
