There's a petition on Change.org asking for Disney Parks to change the theme on the Splash Mountain rides.
The ride currently includes imagery from the 1946 film Song Of The South. The petition states the ride's "history and storyline are steeped in extremely problematic and stereotypical racist tropes" from the movie.
Several Disney fans have suggested that Disney re-theme the ride by drawing inspiration from The Princess and the Frog—the first Disney film to introduce a black princess.
