Soulja Boy denied sexually assaulting and beating a woman who claimed to have been his personal assistant during his testimony in court this week.

The "Donk" rapper took the witness stand on Thursday, March 27, and responded to allegations that he beat, sexually assaulted and entrapped a woman only known as "Jane Doe." He denied ever laying hands on her and refuted her claim that she worked as a personal assistant. However, he later admitted to referring to Doe as his assistant while at a Louis Vuitton store, and acknowledged the seriousness of the heated text message he sent her including "F*k U b***h" and "I hope you die slow."

"Those are your words?" Doe's attorney Dean Aynechi asked, per Courthouse News Service.

"These are my words," Way responded.

"Is it OK to talk to women like this?" Aynechi shot back.

"No," Way replied.

The woman, who's remained anonymous throughout the legal proceedings over the past four years, initially sued Soulja Boy in 2021 claimed the rapper made her endure a hostile work environment and failed to pay her. She was allegedly promised $500 a week and was given a room to live inside his home in Los Angeles. After they entered a romantic relationship, she claimed he physically and sexually abused her several times. She tried to leave but she claimed Soulja Boy held her hostage in a room without hot water for three days until she agreed not to go. She finally got an opportunity to leave after the rapper allegedly assaulted her in August 2020.

Soulja Boy spent two hours on the stand before the plaintiff's attorney rested his case. The 34-year-old artist reportedly wasn't asked about the woman's sexual assault allegations, but her attorney question him regarding the violent attacks.

"Are you telling this jury you never laid hands on her, sir?" Aynechi asked.

"Never," Soulja Boy responded.

Soulja Boy's attorney, Rickey Ivie, denounced the allegations and claimed they're "not supported by reliable evidence." She also alleged the lawsuit is a scheme fueled by revenge that was concocted by the plaintiff to get her payday.

"The claims are driven by the ulterior motives of jealousy, revenge, and financial gain," Ivie said during opening statements.

Jane Doe previously testified for three days and provided the harrowing details of her allegations. She said the rapper would routinely beat her, insult her in front of his friends, and rape her. She also claimed he purposely kept her malnourished. She told the court she weighed 150 before she started working with Soulja Boy.

"I was about 86 pounds when I managed to get away from him," she said while sobbing on the stand. "I didn’t even feel human anymore. I felt like an animal."

The jury trial is expected to wrap up next week.
