Tuesday night's Verzuz battle between Fat Joe and Ja Rule was so nostalgic, viewers were already in the comments trying to brainstorm which artists should be next up to go round for round in a battle of hit records. Many iconic names were thrown out there, but one name that was consistent was Diddy's.

During the conversation, which made it's way over to Twitter, producer Jermaine Dupri let it be known that he's up for the challenge to go record for record against the 51-year old music exec. Dupri tweeted live from the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden where the Verzuz was taking place:

"Somebody let @Diddy know I'm @thegarden right now ! And he gon need some training for me.

Diddy, whose unprecedented career spans over three decades, was in the comment section of the live event via Instagram when all of the talk surrounding his potential battle was going on. In true Diddy form, the famed producer chimed in, revealing the only artist he feels is good enough to go round for round against him. Diddy, also known as Brother Love, responded to Dupri,

Beloved you my ***** but your arms too short to box with God!!! You aint got enough hits. I'll smash you with just biggie n Mary . But I do have the upmost respect on you as a musical legend. [Dr] Dre the only one can get in the ring w me."

However, viewers were more receptive to the idea of a Diddy versus Dupri battle. One fan simply tweeted, "I think Diddy and JD is a much better fit than Diddy and Dr. Dre." Another added, "Diddy and JD is a MUCH better matchup. They can both get in their remix bag."

Whoever Diddy does decide to battle, it will be a mega Verzuz for the ages. In the mean time, check out some clips from Fat Joe vs Ja Rule below:
