Kate Middleton Fears She’ll Never Be Close To Prince Harry Again

Party At The Palace

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step down as full time working members of the royal family rocked Buckingham Palace. There's been a ton of rumors about major behind the scenes drama and royal feuds over the past few years, but an anonymous source talked to Us Weekly about Kate Middleton's fondness for her brother-in-law and her fear their close friendship may be in trouble.

“She barely has time to rest, and when she does try to sleep, her mind is constantly racing,” the source said of Kate's state of mind post-Megxit. The Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly "mourning" her relationship with Prince Harry, as well. According to Us Weekly, Kate has been "crying over the literal and figurative distance between herself and her brother-in-law."

Following Harry's decision to step down from his position within the royal family, he and Meghan decided to move across the pond to Canada with Archie for more privacy. “She wishes she could speak to Harry," the source said. "She misses him and fears she’ll never be close to him again.”

On top of her fears about her relationship with Harry, Kate is reportedly quite stressed about potentially having to pick up his former royal duties. "Kate’s in a panic and has been having bouts of anxiety," the source divulged. Kate has reportedly been working 18-hour days lately and is "stretched pretty thin." In addition to Kate's own royal duties, she also has 3 kids of her own. While Kate does have nannies to help with the care of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, she's believed to be pretty hands on parent, as well. The stress of potentially taking on more work has driven a wedge between Kate and Meghan, too. "They couldn’t be further apart," the source revealed.

Though Kate is "really worried about how she’ll juggle the extra workload on top of her family life," she's still missing her once close bond with her brother-in-law. Hopefully, though, these royal in-laws will be able to mend any hurt feelings ASAP.
