Megan Thee Stallion Reveals She Was Shot Multiple Times

Megan Thee Stallion has broken her silence.

Days after she and Tory Lanez were pulled over by police and he was arrested for gun charges, the "Hit My Phone" rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday (July 15) to reveal that she was shot, clarifying reports that claimed she was injured by glass.

“The narrative that is being reported about Sunday’s morning events are inaccurate and I’d like to set the record straight," she began. "On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me."

While Megan did not say who shot her, she disputed claims that she was arrested, as footage recently surfaced of her allegedly being detained by police.

"I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets," the 25-year-old rapper wrote. "I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night. I’m currently focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible.”

She additionally captioned the post, "I was never arrested. This whole experience was an eye opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy."

Early Sunday morning (July 12), police responded to reports of multiple gunshots outside a Hollywood Hills party where Meg and Tory had been partying.

After police pulled the SUV that Tory, Meg and another woman were driving in, they found a handgun and Tory was booked for possession of a concealed weapon.

As noted by TMZ, police have NOT connected Tory to the shots that were fired outside the party.
