Young Jeezy's camp is speaking out against police after the rapper was arrested Tuesday in the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta.

Jeezy -- born Jay Wayne Jenkins -- was charged with obstruction for allegedly not cooperating with officers responding to a tripped security alarm.

Sources close to Jeezy tell that contrary to the police report, which stated that he refused to surrender his ID, officers knew who he was right away and even addressed him as "Jeezy the rapper."  The emcee's camp also says that the police officers were "antagonizing" him.

Jeezy's latest arrest came just weeks after he turned himself in to police to face charges of battery, false imprisonment and making terroristic threats.  The charges stem from an alleged fight with his son back in 2012.  He was later released on $45,000 bail and will appear in court on January 29th.
