Listen to Ice Cube on iHeartRadio

Ice Cube may have rapped about having his name on the Goodyear Blimp on "It Was a Good Day," but now his words have become a reality.

Following a savvy charity fundraising campaign by the Good Day Blimp project, the rapper's name was displayed on the iconic Goodyear Blimp in Los Angeles on Monday.

The group challenged internet users to raise $25,000 with the promise that if Goodyear flew the rapper's name they would donate the money to the youth charity A Place Called Home.

After the money was raised, Goodyear came through and even got Ice Cube to sign on and make an appearance.
